Christmas 2008

We had a great Christmas this year. We celebrated Christmas Eve at Linda's house with my family and the kids had a great time. Christmas morning Koby and Kaeli woke us up early so we could see what Santa had brought them...lots of goodies, and then we headed to Grandpa's and Nana's to enjoy time with the family. Later in the afternoon Elton's brothers along with their families and his Mom and Jay came for dinner and more fun times. It was a great Christmas spent with family and friends!

Missing Home

Home Sweet Home! I just returned from a four day trip to San Francisco (work), and boy am I happy to be back. Although I did have a good time, minus the work part, I sure missed my family. We did a lot of walking downtown to Union Square EVERY night, it was beautiful though with all of the Christmas decor out. I traveled with my friend Ina from work and I'm sure she'll never want to shop with me again...sorry Ina. We also got a chance to ride the cable car down to the pier and did a little window shopping there too.

It was nice to come home and see both Kaeli and Elton after being away all week...I hate to leave my kids. Still missing Koby though, he has been away at SCICON since Monday and will return home tomorrow. Although I have to work I will be taking my lunch when he gets back with his class so I can at least pick him up. I sure hope he is having a good time and isn't freezing his buns off! I guess we'll find out how it went tomorrow.

Football

The Eagles finished their regular season as the division champions with a record of 9-1. Koby and Elton had a great year together and Kaeli and I enjoyed going to all of their games. They had a great group of boys on the team this year too. Koby has sure grown as a "football" player over the past three years, it is so exciting to go to each game! Elton says next year will be his last year coaching football...I'll believe it when I see it.

The boys thought they'd celebrate after their last game of the season...they had Coach Tripp running all over the field, but he rode home dry!

Halloween

Although we missed Koby this year at Trunk-or-Treat...football practice, Kaeli had a good time with her friends...She even saw the Lion, Glenda, and the Wizard of OZ!
